Here is a nice dark set of Amazon rosewood large enough for a dreadnaught. These dark sets are hard to find, and one this clean is especially rare.

The sides are so nice they can easily be confused with Brazilian. There is a blemish in one of the sides, but it is outside the pattern.

Retail Value is $300 but a bid of $250 ends the auction early and gets free domestic shipping. (This auction has a $200 Reserve).

This auction ends tomorrow (4.27) at 3PM EST.

Good Luck.

Nice snag John, that will make a very stately guitar.

I think you're going to like that set. My Sonic Sitka guitar was built with a similar set - and I got many comments at Newport - "Brazilian Rosewood, right?"

I love working with it.

It looks like a great set. If they are like the others I have purchased here - they always look way better in person than the photos can show.

No one is bidding on these - must have depleted $$ from the swap meet. Time for a luthier's stimulus program!
