If you are looking for something out of the ordinary this is it. This is a set of "shell" mahogany. It has extremely nice flame that goes from edge to edge with another figure that looks like rain drops falling down it. It is highly symmetrical and extremely beautiful. This is large enough for a dread

This set was really hard to photograph. It is really beautiful. The pictures don't do it just justice.

Retail value is $225. A bid of $175 takes it and gets free domestic shipping.

This auction ends tomorrow at 3PM EST.

My SLR is in the shop and I shot that with my wife's CoolPix (which kind of sucks). I don't think I am going to do much better with that camera... but it really is an awesome set.

Blemish free and really spectacular figure.

Ok Zach. You're our winner. Thanks.

Sorry Steve. You missed it by a few minutes.

Well, that's fine. [xx(]
But I am confused--Brock, your post was dated the 22nd of April, which runs all of today, and the post said that the auction ends tomorrow at 3.
Silly me, I assumed that would be the 23rd.

Help me with my math?

Steve

Thank you for saving me from myself Zach.

I'm glad my wood "hit" list is small as these auctions are a little like a box of See's Candies.

Ya start with the chocolate buttercream, move on to the divinity puff, then the Bordeaux, molasses chips.....

I'm usually pretty good at restraining myself from these. I almost pulled the trigger on the maple a few days ago. My inventory drastically outweighs my build pace and experience. I think this is #62 on the list now. But I've had my eye on this stuff from a few vendors fora while now. Couldnt resist.

I wasn't sure if I won or not. Does end at X EST mean the stroke of X:00 or the end of the X:00 minute. Now I know.

Hey Steve,

When I look at the initial post for this that Brock did for this thread, it shows April 21st, in the afternoon. Of course I'm in Hawaii, but I'm still this side of the international date line  .

Actually, I don't bother with the date time stamp on the initial post, instead I look at the top in the section just below the sponsor's ads, where Brock posts the ad for the OLF auction. There he usually specifies the day, date and time the auction ends (in this case he indicated Thursday April 22st 3pm Eastern). I'm still not sure when April 22st is though! laughing6-hehe

Yeah, I was a little bleary eyed when I made that.

The date time stamps in the posts are a bit screwy because the software tries to figure out where you are and adjust accordingly, but *I* am in EST so we base it off of my clock. I use the minutes posted as my guideline. Until 3:01 my time all bids are accepted.

Sorry that was confusing Steve. :-(
