This is a PRIMO set of 5A Quilted Sapele. It has strong even quilt from edge to edge and ZERO blemishes. The image looks a little rough, but you can tell what kind of figure this set has when you blow it up. This is right off the saw. This set is not sanded.

It is large enough for a dreadnaught.

Retail value is $300, but a buy it now bid of $250 ends the auction early and gets free domestic shipping.

This auction ends tomorrow (Tuesday) at 3PM EST.

Nice score MJoy, I have three sets of this quilted sapele and it is beautiful wood, you'll enjoy it.

Thanks, I also have several like this. One currently under way. You don't want to know what I paid for those (I don't want to remember).

Congratulations Mjoy!

Where did you get the other sets from. Seems quite impossible to me to find quality like that.

Greetings,
Florian

Those other sets came from an old friend of this forum, Bruce Dickey. I got them from him about 5 years ago. The Chinese have developed quite a taste for figured sapele, and very little of it gets to the open market any more. They are buying it right from the felling sites.

Thanks for the info.

I'm sure I'll find such a set again one day ...
