One of my students decided to make some some clips of my Parrot Guitar. This guitar was on the LMI table at the last Healdsburg show, if you happened to be there.

Enjoy!

Robbie - Great stuff. Guitar sounds great.

I gotta ask - he's not playing at the Milwaukee Athletic Club, is he? The wall looks pretty familiar, I'm trying to place it.

Looks and sounds Beautiful Robbie! Folks, pics and recordings do this guitar no justice. I saw it up close and personal last year and Robbie picked a couple of tunes on it for me. It's an awesome display of Robbie's mastery. :)

As well as a looker that sounds really good, something special.

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.
