Has anyone used a Minwax stain to tint McFadden's Natural filler?

I believe that the Minwax stain also has varnish like resins to build some body. I only use stains that are pure stain with no bodying materials. These are getting harder to find.

What does it say on your can of stain?

Use the colortone (SM) or colorFX (Target coatings) dyes ..... if the filler is opaque, you can also use earth pigments (Lee Valley and others I am sure)
