Will be there for two weeks for a vacation starting Friday and if anyone knows of any stashes of local wood I would appreciate a heads up.

Tom,
I have been there the last 3 years & last year found a guy up near Makawo. He has an incredible open to the air shop. I ended up buying about 4 short boards at $20bf. I may get 2 or 3 guitars & 6 ukeleles out of it. I'll research his name but if we don't connect before you go I think it was something like eco-Maui-koa...? He had an add in a small local paper.
The best affordable restaurantis in Haiku, Colleens.
Are you a golfer?
PM me.
Mike McNerney

Thanks Matt..
My second year in a row so I guess it's becoming one of my favorites also.

Stop by Mele-Ukelele in Wailuku. They have a factory right there. Pretty cool diversion.
