Its live as of 4:10 today.

I can only speak for those that use the iPhone, maybe some Blackberry users can help with those.
Down load tapatalk app for the iPhone, search Official Luthiers Forum and your there!
Quick and simple and a great interface for reading on the RUN!

I think this might be the FIRST EVER Guitarmakers forum for mobile phones!
Special thanks go out to OLF'er Filippo Morelli for turning us on to this technology!

Search Official Luthiers Forum
Its listed under Educational

OK For all you graphics artists out there!

We'd LOVE a super cool Official Luthiers Forum icon for the tapatalk app!
Please let me know if you'd be interested in making one!

Thanks!

O can't see it either, it might be because
I have it pinned as a global post? I'll
change it too sticky.

It was bad enough that I can now check email while driving down the interstate at 70mph. OLF too? Might as well make my funeral arrangements now. laughing6-hehe

Lance it's been available to download for Nokia, at least in the UK, from Nokia's OVI store for some time.

Makes me want to get a phone that I can use to do this. I'm still using the old typical cell phone which at best takes pictures. I will need to check to see if I can get an upgrade and if so what that might cost.

Any news on the PM problem? Mine still gives me an error and all I can do is log out and back in to fix it. Still, I love this app! BTW, anybody notice that under statistics, it gets all the personal posts goofed up? (like when you are trying to find threads you started or responded to?)

OK, something new that I have noticed. Sometimes the app opens with "latest" threads listed, sometimes it opens in plain old "forums" format. When it opens in "latest", sometimes I do not notice it. Later, when I go online with the laptop, I can't find threads I posted to. Turns out I am posting in forums I do not normally post in.

Well, nothing for the app to do here... what I want to be able to do is go to User CP, and get a list of things I posted to in chronological order. What am I missing here? I cannot find such a capability...

There is an update available that I need to install asap.
It may fix some of the issues...

Lance, thats great.

Is there a way when using the site normally (via a computer) to retrieve all posts that I am involved in? Normally, one finds this under "statistics"

This is a cool app! Now I can surruptishiously (sp?) check the forum while at work. Well, maybe on lunch break......

One issue I did have was trying to view a pm from Brock. It said that forum was unavailable. Any ideas? I tried refreshing it, leaving the app and re-entering. No luck.

I just realized the Tap Talk software doesn't display any OLF sponsors' ads. Maybe the people using it are already crazy obsessed OLFers who seek out the sponsors anyway, but I think it would be good if sponsors had some way to get their message to the phone browsers too.

It would be great, but also very costly.
Tapatake is an "app in a can" All we had to do was add some code to the OLF and register with Tapatalk.

To be honest, I have an iPhone and use Safari which displays the OLF like normal. Tapatalk is better suited for a low bandwidth text only user.

Hey cool! Tapatalk showed up on the Android Marketplace when I searched for it today. I can now read the OLF on my Nexus One (and presumably other Andriod based phones)!.

Sweet!

Thanks

I wasn't saying you guys should try to develop something like that. But it might be worth putting a bug in the ear of the developer... Man! I just realized what a gruesome metaphor that is. Maybe I should watch Wrath of Kahn today...

We have not updated to the version that allows mobile image uploads yet.
