Just another type of rosewood. They're over 200, and only few are used in lutherie (East indian, brazilian, hondurian, cocobolo, madagascar, granadillo, etc). Guess why? Some have not such good acoustic and aesthetic qualities of the ones just mentionned. I don't know about the sound of yucatan, but I can say it's light brown, bit yellow-ish.
