I played a great 1930 OM-18 that sounded great for blues. Played L-00 guitars that sound great for blues. Played jumbos that were great for blues. The sound is in your hands more than anything. Learning to damp strings - both left and right hand - is key to controlling the sound, and thus getting a good "blues" sound.
