I'm kind of intrigued with KTM-SV. I have used Behlen's Rockhard on my last 2 guitars and it has a few issues for me. One, it's very yellow. And two - it has a bit of a smell that some people don't like.

So, I was thinking of KTM-SV. Brushing it on.

Anyone have any experience with this? Ideas on Schedule?

Thanks
Neil

neil, i havent done so yet, but thats my plan for my current build. it might be a couple of months, but ill let you know how it goes when i get there.

there was a pretty long thread about KTM-SV semi-recently:

viewtopic.php?f=10101&t=22737&hilit=spar+varnish

i dont think anyone was brushing, but there was a lot of info in there.

its definitely worth a try. let us know how it goes.

If you don't have a compressor those little Preval sprayers will get the job done. Each one will spray one guitar twice, so you need at least five for a guitar, but it's a functional short term fix.
