I can't even remember the last time we had a name that builder so I thought I'd bring it back up for some fun.

Winner gets.......

I'm thinking that Swiss guy, you know . . . not Pagelli, the other one.

It has a Euro/Bauhaus look, but the headstock isn't Michael Keller's.

I have no idea but the frets look black. Delrin comes in black and I recall somewhere having read about Delrin being used for frets. A possible clue?

Richard Schneider

The peghead is a tad more drastic than his previous work but everything else says it is at the least inspired by Schneider's work, the bridge fretboard scalop and even sound port screams Richard Schneider to me

Some aspects of the design make me think of Gary Southwell.

There is no doubt that this is a Kash/Schneider inspired build. the peghead is really throwing me though. it still looks like a Richard Schneider build to me but that Peghead has worn away my confidence

I give [uncle] just waiting to find out.

Hey, very cool. I've pick a real stumper with this one.

No one has guess'd right yet... It is a kasha builder though.

I'll give two clues now.

1st. This builders focus is primarly electrics and repair.

2nd. One of the builders custom jobs was recently seen in a movie about electric guitars (new movie).

I have more clues, but don't want to give them away just yet.

Keep guessing.

You're right Dennis....That is a bad guess ;)

Anyone else????

Here's some other clues

The Builder is based out of Seattle, Has three repair shops in Washington state, and the movie his guitar is featured in is called "It Might Get Loud". It's actually the Gretch in this clip. If you haven't seen the movie go out and rent it. It's great!

Duly put in my Netflix queue! I've been watching "Remember That Night", a live David Gilmour DVD - awesome.

Nope, his focus is mostly acoustic basses.

I feel a bit like I cheated as I simply Googled "washington state seattle guitar repair" But I did note the 5 locations listed whereas you said 3 so I thought maybe I could be wrong.

For the Love of God please don't send me a can of Lard!!
I'm a hard core vegetarian!!

Thanks for the contest, very cool and educational [clap]

Peace,
Sanaka

The movie is what made me look him up. Very intriguing adding the retractable mic into the body.

No worries Sanaka, the lard is vertual only
