Dennis Merrill brought 50+ Sitka tops from the same tree to ASIA at East Stoudsburg last summer - the deal was, you could have the top if you built a guitar with it and got it to Newport in April. A bunch of guitars - all different from the same tree.

Yes, I've got a nice set of Myrtle I'm planning to use. It'll be the "native northwest" entry.
Not sire what I'll use for neck stock. Maybe I can find a suitable piece of Myrtle or perhaps westen Maple.
