I purchased a precut ebony finger board from a supplier , and I have contacted them about it. My question is , its warped about 3/16" and bowed about 1/8" is this "normal " the first one i got was flat and straight. Would anyone build with this ? Am I making to much of nothing? [headinwall]

Please enlighten me

- I see no one is touching this one :) It's very possible that the board was flat and straight when it left the vendor's,
and has moved as a result of humidity changes- that's ebony. You can try storing it with your other tonewoods in
their humidity-controlled environment and see if the board flattens out.. as for it being usable in the condition
described, for myself the answer would be a strong no. ymmv.
