As I occasionally venture through the website of one of my favorite players Adam Rafferty, I see he has put down his Taylor and now a Cole Clark instrument man. Being curious....I did some browsing and saw this link/picture showing the carved top of their acoustic models. VERY INTERESTING.
It's worth a look and some comment.

A good friend is the NA rep for them ... interesting design, they are made by a guy who left Maton ...and had designed the PU system in Tommy E's guitars. Their PU is actually pretty good, the whole guitar is pretty much made on a CNC .. the neck is sort of spanish heel ... forget getting a neck reset. I dont find the most of the bunga or whatever they are tops very attractive, nor do like the neck shape. But they sell OK ....

It seems like they're really on to something, otherwise why would they brag about patenting...the Spanish heel and the outside mold!

(Which is 'new and novel' and therefore in dire need of a patent)

Probably also has a patent on the innovative way he puts on his socks in the morning!

(As many probably know, the US patent office now basically just grants every patent submitted for anything besides perpetual motion and lets the courts decide who's right in case of dispute)
