Hi,
Do any of you more experienced OLF members happen to be located in the Seattle area? I'm looking for someone who can help me diagnose an intonation problem and maybe give me a hands-on lesson in the set up process. I'd be be happy to pay for your time and expertise: dollars, lunch, craft beers--whatever works for you.
Thanks,
George :-)

Check out the Seattle Luthiers Group website. I'm sure you'll be able to find someone there ;)

Also Cat Fox and Rick Davis have Sound Gutiar Workshp where you can learn as much as you'll ever need I'm sure.

Hope that helps.

Thanks, Rod. Both of your suggestions are great ideas. I think it would be fun to try and meet someone from the OLF before I pursue other leads.
Best regards,
George :-)

Rick has posted here a few times, and hosted a gathering of local OLFers at their shop a few years ago.

Sound guitar workshop is an OLF sponsor.

I stopped for a brief visit with Cat Fox and Rick Davis today. They were very nice and it was a pleasure meeting them both. I've always wanted to take some of their classes and I'm eager to do so now more than ever. Hopefully I'll be able to find time in my schedule for that soon.
