I was just looking for jiu-jitsu mats and came across this site: http://www.greatmats.com/products/foamspecial.php

They have any kind of matting you can think of. This in particular would be great for shop flooring. I know Filippo has something similar. A couple hundred bucks finishes your floor.

James-
Good idea.
I picked up some similar 4-packs at WalMart the other day for $14 Cdn, so many folks will probably be able to find these locally. Once I get the shop cleaned up a bit more (!), they're hitting the floor.

Cheers
John

Filippo, how much was the mat at Wal-Mart? Was it comparable or less expensive?

Though I'm not a huge fan of Harbor Freight, they sell those four packs for $6-8 I think. They look identical. I don't know if the density is the same, but I've bought 5 or 6 of the 4 packs and I will be getting more as my new shop comes together. Definitely a back and chisel saver.
