Will you do a follow up on after it's finished? Seems as though you left off with the neck a little proud of the box...do you consider glue and finish on the ribs? I usually end up dead flat on the top... or were you flat on the top also?

the guitar is in the white and I like to keep ita touch proud. Once I have it finished I will set the neck and keep it about .010 above the top so that I have a true wedged joint. You need the neck joint to pull tight.

Thank you for the tutorials! They have been posted at an opportune time as I’m about to set a dove tail neck and really don’t have a good concept of it. It was a little hard at times seeing what you were describing since the camera didn’t always capture the detail. But with your help I’m sure I can move forward now.

Any chance of a dvd on how you cut the joint I assume you rout yours? I watched people cutting them by hand in my evening class then gluing shims in sanding and chiselling over shooting the mark then adding another shim seemed a nightmare that's why I opted for bolt on
