Up for grabs this time is a beautiful set of Macassar Ebony with dramatic figure and nice symmetry. This set is large enough for an OM.

The retail value of this set is $280.

Bidding will continue through tomorrow at noon. The auction may be ended early with a bid of $280 and we will include free shipping.

I'll start off with $150 because if, through some wacko oversight on the part of everyone else, I actually win that's all I could pay without incurring the wrath of 'she who monitors the spending'. idunno

Hi Filippo,

I have developed my little Photoshop routine to visualize how some tonewood set looks under finish. It's of course not totally accurate, but it gives the basic idea.

Hope that helps, Christian

I checked with the boss....and she said... "This would top off my allowance for the next 3 months."
