Hello my friends. This is the first sold guitar. Delivered it 2 days ago. felt strange to have to part from it. it sounded awesome. German mastergrade top and Cocobolo B/S, Quilted Koa bindings and purf with red dyed wood in between. She´s french polished with a tru-oiled neck. I stained the neck to have a more unison color to the cocobolo the closer it got to the coco. so its fading from light close to the head to darker at the beginning of the body. turned out great.

Just got these phtos back from my friend who´s a photographer, waiting for some shots aimed more directly from the front.

Look forward to hear what you think.

Sincerely , your buddy Lars.
PS- I had some problems with getting the photos small in size. so I am sorry if the upload time might be long. click to make´em larger.

Great looking guitar Lars, I hope the new owner enjoys it as much as you did creating it. I know how you feel about parting with it, I delivered the 1st one I sold yesterday, its like giving up your children.

Great job Lars! Beautiful guitar. I know your client will be happy.

Hey! By the way! Didn't you just start building guitars last week, or something like that? :D

Wow, Lars, that's fantastic! I love the appointment choices. The colors are incredible! This is probably my favorite guitar that's been posted in quite a while. I just love the style. Great job!

Could we get a larger image of the rosette? I want to see how you used those materials.

Lars, I like how everything works together.
It has the appearance of serious--and good--thought.
I'd like to request a closeup of the fretboard inlays. Interesting!

Steve

Wow! Really, really great looking!!! I LOVE the bridge design, the little flare on the end of the fretboard, the modest use of red in the trim... Lots to be proud of.

WOW thanks for all the wonderful words. I am truly honored.
Yes Ive only been doing this for a short while, But its like I was born to it, I LOVE THIS !!! its soooo much fun. But allthough it was a pain to part from this instrument, Its left to a good friend, so I will be able to go test it out once in a while. [:Y:] .

Steve, here´s a shot of the inlays on the fretboard. Its made by cocobolo. the inlay on the head isby Koa.
James, I will upload a photo of the rosette once I get one with more detailes. Its cocobolo with red wooden purfling.

Geordie- the lower bout is a little over 16" 16 1/8 I think.

Again a big thank you for all the kind words. And also. A huuuugh thank you for all the help you´ve been givem me throughout this time I´ve been a member here. I would not have beeen able to build tghis without your help.

Lars.

Wow! Nice!
There will be a time in my life that I will NEED to sell a guitar.....even if I have to give it away. I just like them and can't get rid of them.
I only hope my first sell can look that nice.
