This is a guitar cover made by a friend Ashley Parkes in Nashville Tn.
She also makes really cool guitar straps.I`m not sure what the purpose of the covers are?Maybe someone can enlighten me .

Must make the guitar sound like it has a cow wrapped around it.

James, The leather work is superb but I'm with Mike on the issue of it really dampening the sound. Martin sells an Elvis Presley special edition but it can be removed from the guitar without having to unstring it.

It could be sold to the affluent luthier community as a protector while working on things! :D

Guys, that is a classical! The cover might be made from the skin of a Spanish bull, that would definitely enhance the sound of any nylon strings guitar!

Want to see further examples of "what were they thinking?", go check out some of the guitars in the country music museum in Nashville.

If your referring to the bridge in the second picture, that is just a standard Gibson bridge.

I guess this serves the same purpose those stupid little covers people put on their phones do.

Those covers are for the player who cares more about keeping the guitar scratch free and
looking new than getting the most out of it tonally. Just like the people who cover their $500
phones with little covers.....without the tonal concerns since the phones work fine with a cover
on them.
