I am doing a rose inlay on a fretboard. I was wondering what kind of inlay material would be good for a red rose?. I thought about using red tortouise. But I really would like something more bright;shiny. I really don't want a pink pearl but a redder material..Any ideas???

Red coral recon stone,
Red corain,
red acrylics,

Anything red hard enough to cut and sand properly.

Or a mix of all those above to get shading and accents the way you like.

Good luck.

I prefer using nothing but organic materials so I've always inlaid my roses
in either mother of pearl or pink shell.
