Yeah, looks good.

Nothing wrong with that, it does look good. Especially for a first try. Did you route that out by hand or have it laser cut?

Steve, the logo was cut in the wood by a laser to .050 and I cut the ablam by hand. Most of the pieces were very tiny, so I used a water grinder (ie for stained glass), and sandpaper wrapped around various objects to get the shapes i wanted.

If I may offer a constructive suggestion: The inlay looks just fine,but the "Y" doesn't READ well. It's not going to be easy for someone to see the Y unless he already knows it's there.

Noted on the "Y" read... i thought long about that, and deliberately went with this approach, to avoid any similarities to Yamaha, etc... But for next time, I'll see if it can be tweaked.
