Is anyone going to the N/M Guitar Festival?
Having just seen the value of these shows from the Healdsburg Festival, we're considering this one also.
Our problem is the schedule...next April seems like it's coming pretty quickly. Is this a "must-do" affair?
Thoughts pro / con?

Thanks,

Steve

Hi Steve,
It's at the Hard Rock Casino, it's huge, will get tons of free press, plus over 10 million in marketing is being put into the thing from the Hard Rock themselves. My source for this information is the show managers/promoters themselves, not rumors.
The better question is can you afford to NOT go?

It's right in my backyard so I'll definitely be there. I'll most likely be playing the landing pad role for everyone's instruments again as well, so get your requests in fast guys before the receiving department is closed... :o  gaah

I don't think I will be exhibiting but it will be exciting to see all of the sonic sitka guitars together in one place. I will be bringing mine. (assuming I get it done in time!)

I went last time in Miami Beach and it was nice, great fun, all the usual people. The crowd was not as big as I would have hoped but it wasn't bad. The venue last time was great which may have actually made the crowd seem smaller than it really was. Next year in Ft Lauderdale (Hard Rock Casino), should prove to be even better so I'm planning on going. It is not a bad place to plan a vacation while your at it so that's what I will probably do.

Ok, so far you guys are making it sound real tempting...
Think I'll look into it.
Say John, how many guitars you gonna take?

Thanks,

Steve

I sold 2 instruments (one off the floor and one order) at the last Miami show, so I'm likely to attend as well.

Ok, guys, thanks for the replies.
You do make it sound like an East Coast Healdsburg.
I've glanced at the N/M site, but can't tell if there is a deadline for registration.

As of now, we hope to go.

Steve

I'm tentatively planning on exhibiting at this one, Steve. I hope to see you there.

That would be great, Todd!
I hope so, too.

I'll be going to it. April isn't a bad time to be in Florida,
it's not in the 90s yet.

I'm just wondering if any of you have signed up or registered yet. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of new information other than venue on the website. Most of what is there is from 2008.
