It never stays around my shop long enough (less than 6 months) , but why not call them and ask.

I know forums serve multiple purposes, not the least of which is socializing - keeping in contact with like-minded folks.

But how much more trouble is it to look up the shelf life yourself?

Google is a fine search engine. Took me about 20 seconds.

Manufacturer guidelines and real life are usually two different things. I would much rather have an experienced luthier's recommendation or 'tale of woe' than the manufacturer's. [:Y:]

I have a 2 part devcon epoxy that is about 5 years past the due date on the side that I still use for things other then guitars and it has worked fine. I haven't noticed and problems with woodworking joints i used it on. Though i wouldn't probably use it in a life or death situation.
