Hello,

Has anyone done a Taylor style GS series? I'm looking for a tracing of one for a potential build.

Thanks,

Ray

No, sorry Ray .. I dont build taylor's ...

when I wanted a Martin OM pattern, I simply went to the local shop with a notebook .. played the guitar, put it on my lap on top of the book and took the tracings of the lower, waist, and upper bout ... then went home and put them together

Hey Ray,
a while ago i traced several Taylor body shapes and created CAD files to match.

i'm pretty sure the GS was one of the shapes i worked on.
i'm all the way on the other side of the world, and it's midnight already, so i'll check my archives first thing in the morning and get back to you.

Udi.

I know John Hall at Blues Creek guitars has the mold and bending forms for the Taylor GS so he might have a tracing

Udi, If you do in fact have a CAD file of the GS I would be interested as well,

Matt
