Really sweet, Colin. I'm bowing to the east.
I love the color palette. You use pear for some of the trim, don't you? Do you buy that in veneer sheets or saw your own?

Edit--ok, just checked back on the stats sheet, and saw pear listed. But the second question still stands!

Thanks for sharing,

Steve

Thanks Steve, you know that the color (sic) palette is important to me, I like it all to blend rather than complete. As to the pear, I use pear veneer, for things like the headstock laminates etc. I used to make my own ebony/pear/ebony purflings from veneer as well, but managed to persuade one of my local suppliers that the purflings were something he just had to carry in stock.

Bravo, Colin!!! I've been waiting for the day to see this very guitar and it is spectacular by anyone's standards. The 000-12 Fret is my personal favorite and yours definitely goes into the keeper file.

Thanks for sharing!

Colin,

I've always admired your guitars and this one is especially sweet to see as I recall at one point you weren't that certain you'd be building again.

Cheers,
Pat
