I know you guys are tired of me and my first build stuff, but, I was watching Robbie's video of the Healdsburg guitars, and I wondered how he did that. I started experimenting, and took a bunch of the pictures from my first build and put the whole thing to the music of Johnnie May playing the finished guitar. I had to repeat the piece 3 times to get all the pictures in. It's probably too long, but it didn't come out to bad for a first venture. It takes just under 10 minutes, if you have the inclination, and / or the time.

Hmm, I thought I could embed it, but I guess not. No code for photobucket! Here is the link.

Most impressive, Waddy...building chops, documentation and the music from that beautiful guitar. It's hard to believe that it's your first.

Thanks for posting, Bro!!! [clap] [clap] [:Y:]

I was thinking the opposite thing Waddy - I thought the pictures flashed by much too fast. If you doubled the length of it (with twice as long on each slide), that would be about right for me. Repeat the music as often as needed - I don't get tired of hearing it. Excellent stuff all round!

Cheers,
Dave F.

Bravo Waddy,

I am once again blown away by your skill, artistry and attention to detail.

Congratulations,

Been waiting all week to check that out, can't open video or photo sites at work. Worth the wait - well done. Sweet music. I agree with Dave, though, and would leave the photos up a bit longer.

Just watching the photos makes the build look SO easy, but we know how much sweat, toil, and aggravation it cost for the sweet euphoria of completing such a fine first guitar!

The photo duration time was fine for me. I find it tedious when the image just dwells on and one. And Thank you!!! For not filling it up with endless, tedious, mind numbing dissolves, pans, and zooms! Oh, I am SO tired of those!

As for being an indulgence, if the guitar demonstrated poor building, and execution, that would have been an indulgence.

Did you use Photostory? Moviemaker? Something else?

You are all way to generous with your compliments!

in the original form, the pictures were up for 4 seconds with 1.25 second fades. It was over 15 minutes long, and the piece repeated another couple of times. The problem with that is that you can't post anything, anywhere that I know of, that is more than 10 minutes in length.f

Thanks again for your kind comments.

Love that video Waddy, and I agree with the person who said that the transitions could have been a bit slower. I found myself pausing a few times to get a good look.
