Ok folks, this is our last set of Brazilian Rosewood. This is a nice set that is old and has great tap tone. The set is marked for a J200. It also has a bit of curl that will present nicely under finish.

This set has a few small worm holes on the inside of the back. They will probably not present on the show face provided you thickness the majority of the back plate from the inside. Also the color of the back and sides looks different in the pictures, but they are a perfect match (like the lighter orange/brick red color). The back appears this way because we wiped it down with solvent to try to take a better picture and raised the oils. The true color will return when this is sanded.

This is a great set. Good luck.

Just currious, but that last two BRW sets were coffin shaped. Is there a reason for that? There appears to be little room for error or waste on these....

They're coffin shaped because the people cutting up the logs didn't want to waste anything either-- they can probably sell the extra bits they saved as bridge blanks or other stuff.

Usually the "coffin" shape is due to the fact that a lot of these sets came from reclaimed BRW stumps, the tap-root of the tree.
