Or better yet, have one that's finished?

I'm about to start on mine and am looking for some inspiration in the form of ideas for bindings, finish, etc...

Anyone successfully done a bolt on for it yet? I think John mentioned in one of his posts that he felt it would add too much weight for too little gain (or something like that), so I'll probably just glue the neck on mine.

Anyway, show us what you've got (if you've got one!). :)

Jim

Jim, I am in the same stage as you. Just collectively deciding on binding/purfs and stuff. I ordered some tools the other day that I have been needing for fret work and I am trying to decide on fret wire. I still can't believe how light these are! [:Y:]

I looked at that kit and could not figure out how it was a kit. Yes, you attach the neck, maybe add the frets... I cannot remember. But you do not glue th ebody together. Why was that?

Erm.. Not sure how to answer your question. Yes, the body assembly is mostly complete...

Let me answer with a question.

If it's not a kit, what would you call it?

Sorry, that came of a bit negative. Yes, it is a kit, but what is left for the finisher?
