Holy smokes, Waddy...I just saw this thread. That is one beautiful guitar and your craftsmanship just reeks with class. I need to try one of those classicals some day.

Waddy, let me quote someone famous:
"Ain't no moss growin' on that boy." Beautiful Waddy.

Very nice waddy. I too like the back of the head stock. I actually like the whole guitar but that really stands out...Mike

Thanks, guys, I really appreciate all the kind remarks. I have been trying to get some finish on this thing to take it to ASIA, and the saga continues. Monday night, I got the top where I wanted it, or close, and when I was leaving the shop, guitar in hand, I turned around to grab something I forgot, and whacked it against the table of my Radial Arm Saw. [headinwall] [headinwall] Last night I was repairing the "whack" marks, and produced two fingernail scratches, both pretty long and deep. I have fixed those now, but it ain't the same. The color is a little uneven now. Not bad, but irritating to me. Here are a few pictures I took before the whack job. After last night, and these were taken before last night's sessions, it is looking a little better. I'll polish it out a little before I leave, and after it has sat for a couple of days. It won't be done, but it'll be presentable.

You can see where I repaired the purfling line on the right. I had to insert a 4" piece after it had all been glued up and leveled.

Sorry for the blurry pictures, but I was rushing, and didn't realize the camera wasn't focusing on the surface as it should. I should have inserted a contrasting item, then remove it after the focus was established. Hopefully, I'll get some better ones before I get away.

Don't know why the last pic was after the closing text! Oh well!
