I can honestly say that your sharing nature and friendly welcome back when I first I joined the OLF allowed me to feel right at home and become a part of this community. That involvement has since seen my knowledge of this craft grow much faster than the few years of my own experience would normally have permitted. Steve this was an idea shared after I got it while on vacation. I've not done a production run of these because of the stock on hand from Mark Ketts. Modifying an existing kerfed lining was the basic idea. Doing the waist area of a lining for 4 to 5 inches would be all that would be necessary. I guess the tight curves and quick height changes are the reason it's even a problem. I don't have this problem on 28 radius tops, just my 15 radius backs.
