Lars,

Looking GREAT! You are setting a high bar for the rest of us 1st timers (I say this with the previous comments on cultural background and American competitiveness :) ).

One question - why didn't you continue the white side purfling along the back binding? (or am i just missing it in the pictures?? :)

Looks awesome though. Hope mine looks that good in 5 years when I finish it.

Hi Justin. As I took those photos I had not put the back binding on yet, nor the purfling, thats the reason. idunno

Am not that good though, I was making a bridge last night, and it turned out like crap, broke it in two !! and stomped on it. will try another tonight. :D

AAHHHH!!!! I see now. Very good.

HAHAHAHAHAHAH, poor little bridge. That is when you have to breath deeply, turn out the lights and call it quits for a night. Maybe you can still use the broken bridge for something else - I save all my scraps from everything... probably too much, but I am not sure what I will need in the future :)

Lars, I'm just finishing up carving the neck. I'm in the middle of a music production right now so doing more playing then building but should be able to get back to the shop in another week or so.

Cheers,
