Do you remove the bridge before you refinish or do you mask it off?

If it was a full refinish, I'd take the neck and bridge off. Just makes for a cleaner finish job (for me any ways)

Also, if you are spraying the new finish, you won't get the build up at the edge of the bridge or fretboard.
