Heres my first one. Pretty basic om. Scratch built. Lots of mistakes so don't expect closeups. :D It didn't fold in half when I strung it up and it sounds better than i would have hoped so I am happy.

bliss Isn't it great? Do you have any soundclips? What finish did you use? What is next on your list?

Nicely done Chris. From here there looks to be lots to be proud about. I hope you are getting a lot of playing in.

Plans for a second?

Very nice!! And at this distance it looks a whole lot better than my first! [clap]

And you tackled a side port on your first, too. Good work.

Looks great to me! It's exactly the combination I'm going to do on my second guitar in, so it's nice to get a preview of what it will look like. I hope it turns out as nice as yours.

Thanks everyone. Plans for a second guitar? I have plans for lots of guitars. :D I also have a pretty bad case of WAS and TAS. I have an electric strung but not quite finished. I'm about to close the box on a cedar/sapele with macassar. The rosette for that one is in the rosette thread.
Frei, that finish is tru-oil over zpoxy. If someone will tell me how I will post a soundclip.

Congratulations Chris [clap] [clap] [clap] Your first is always a true milestone and when you first hear it played it's the real reward. You're hooked now.... Keep up the good work.
