OK, I've mentioned this before but it wasn't a huge deal because the old forum was still up and I could search the archives there. It looks like the old site is finally down and were stuck. The search function will not return any results for any word under four letters. Koa, jig, cap, top...keep trying, none of them return anything. Whats going on here??? Dont tell me the word koa has never been used in this forum. [headinwall]

You're right Zach my friend - I was able to duplicate your lack of returned results from the search function.

I'll report it to our hosts and thanks for letting us know.

It's a function of the forum software that the admins can change. Note that search will slow down by including 3-letter words. There is yet another setting for "common" words - that affects search results considerably. (Can you imagine how many search results you'd get with the word "this" or "wood" or "guitar" if common words were not ignored?) Note that you need to re-index your database if you reset the threshold setting for what frequency of use is considered "common." Not sure if you need to re-index after changing the minimum number of characters to allow in a search, but I don't think so.
