I wonder if anyone is thinking about clamping your binding in a vacuum bag. There is a thing called an inflatable bladder that you would put inside the guitar to equalize the pressure.

I don’t see the benefit of the vacume bag. The tape or elastic band that you use to hold the binding in place as you work around the perimeter of the guitar is more than sufficient. If you are thinking of eliminating the tape/elastic band I don’t think you will get good results as the binding will be moving all over the place. Besides, trying to balance the internal bladder as you are evacuating the air from the bag would be tricky.
