Sorry, these aren't guitars - they're belt buckles. But the skier one is made from a salvaged EIR fretboard, and the other one is made from a fretboard cutoff!

Thanks, guys. Chris, I'm finding out that there's a lot more people who are into them than I would've ever thought!

Those are great Mike! I would be proud to sport one of those.

What a brilliant idea. I like them heaps.

Not much of a belt buckle place that I live in, as most everyone is in shorts, singlets and thongs. Do you make the metal fittings, or is there some place that sells those supplies?

Thanks again, guys. I actually got the idea for making the buckles from my old mentor, Bruce Clay, about 5 years ago, so I can't take credit for that.

Allen, I don't know about you, but I wear a belt with my shorts too!

The bike girl is adapted from an old French painting.

If I wore the girly buckle I'd get a belt from my wife!

Mike does some awesome inlay work. He is currently teaching an inlay class at Red Rocks and I am trying to talk him into doing an online version of his inlay class. He makes it look so easy!

Robbie, you're too kind! Thanks.

Craig, the hair is Tiger Eye recon stone.

Rene, I got the hardware from a guy I apprenticed with long ago. Not sure where he got them, but I'm running low, so I need to find out!

Mike,
I did a search and found the hardware at Tandy Leather Factory Home.
Buckle Making Supplies
I believe the part we need is:
Buckle Ring & Hook 1 1/2" - 1 3/4"
Part No. 1803-00
$1.29
