Closed up the box on my #1 - Sitka/walnut OM. Started building a binding jig. I'm at work so no photos.

I cut the binding and purfling slots on the cocobolo 000 and am ready to start gluing on the binding when I quit fooling around on this laptop.
I started cutting the bracing for the Manzer wedge small jumbo, finished the rim last week. This is the first time I have been working on 2 guitars at once and seem to get more done instead of sitting around waiting for glue to dry.

I also just noticed I have been promoted to Cocobolo on the OLF, I should feel special.

3 mandos nearing completion, all 40mm at the nut, extra wide for guitarists to learn to play mando!!

a mini dread, needs set up & saddle intonation

and a flat top A shape that needs the same.

and another A, slightly behind......

Hopefully I'll get all three done by the end of next week.

I've been working on carving down braces and getting a label placed where I want it for the back of #2.

Hosted a big party. 45 people in the house! Played some tunes, wished that I could play like some of my friends!

Here is a teaser. I still have to made a bridge, nut and saddle to complete this one. I will post finished pics soon and provide full details.

A huge thank you for the fabulous finish by Joe White. I have to say, I am a big advocate for letting the wood speak for itself and Joe's work lets the wood shine through. A nicer, more professional person to work with cannot be found. I cannot recommend anyone more highly. Thanks again, Joe.

I swapped pickups in my strat. I'm doing the job, start to finish, in about 30 minutes now working comfortably.

Also got the head and heel blocks profiled and glued. I'm a week out from having a rim.

Steve, please forgive my newbieness, but is that a spruce top with heavy bearclaw (or other?) pattern? Or is it an other specie?

(in other word, what is that amazing top? looks fantastic)

Thanks, Olivier, it is bearclaw spruce indeed. Thanks, Hesh, coming from you that means a lot! The rest of the instrument is myrtle and cocobolo.
