Is there a 1/8" collet for the PC 310, or is the only option to use a collet adapter?

None available that I'm aware of, but the the adapter collets Lee Valley sells seem to provide for a pretty true and solid centering.

I've made adapters from telescoping hobby tubing. Slit each piece so it'll compress.

You can also make template guide bushings, task-specific router bases, with it.

Todd, I had to get the adaptor bushing for mine. Here is the best price I could find:

Precisebits has 1/4" bushings available at nominal cost for their 1/8" shank cutters (and they make the best cutters) so if you're looking to use anything in that range then that's the place to go. They also sell 1/8" collets for PC routers, but not the model you're speaking of.

Thanks, everybody. I just ordered the StewMac adapter. BTW, did you know that both "adaptor" and "adapter" are correct spellings? Eat Drink
