I am pleased to announce that Bob Benedetto of Benedetto Guitars http://www.benedettoguitars.com/ will be at Red Rocks Community College in Lakewood Colorado on Jan. 31st for an informal Q&A session with students. If you are local or in the area and would like to drop by, please let me know.

Robbie bro any chance of perhaps taking the on-line connection that we are going to use for the French polish class and letting FP students listen to Bob too?

Thanks

That is a pretty cool idea but unfortunately I have no control over that at the moment. Here is what I am trying to do for the future though. I would like to offer one and two day master classes where students would not have to enroll as student's of the college like everyone needs to currently do for my upcoming French polish class.
Right now I have to offer accredited college courses and the school charges a fee for that. I technically can't currently offer online courses without the students being enrolled at the college and having them pay through the traditional accounting channels of the college.
However,I am able to offer regular master classes at the school without students being enrolled and paying through the college. Unfortunately the online classes are more complicated due to the technology aspect and everyone involved to pull these off.

Robbie, you really know how to drag a lurker out of the shadows. :D

I'd really appreciate the opportunity to listen to Mr. Benedetto talk with your students.
Since I'm still in the planning stages of my first build, I can't think of any questions I might
have for him that wouldn't be more than a waste of his time, but I'd sure like to listen to the
dialog between you and your students and Mr. Benedetto.

Thanks,

Jeff

I don't think so. The purpose of his trip is to spend some time with me in my personal shop. I asked him if he would be willing to make an appearance at the school and he generously accepted.

Robbie,
That is awesome news! I'd love to attend, but it depends on the time. You'll need to let me know the details as it gets closer. A big congrats on getting him to your shop!

Nope, not too painful.
But is this residual itching anything to be concerned about? eek

Email on the way.

Thanks,
Jeff

Hi aand nice to see you on the OLF!! Its nice to see another Ward on here - Im one too!!!
As for your feeling that you wouldnt have enough to offer the Benedetto Q&A - I think just being there, and listening to other ppl's questions and Bobs answers to them, just might help you more than youd think - Plus who knows when youd get another chance like this to learn from someone like Mr B!?!?!?!
Cheers
Charlie

Hesh, I guess you'll just have to come out here and meet him in person. I'll help you get your student ID while you're here too :D
