I like this stuff a lot!

http://www.gaiam.com/product/eco-home-o ... +begone.do

It is clear and odorless. It truly does eliminate odors. Great with cooking odors too.

I would give baking soda a try. It's a good odor eater, dry and inexpensive. You can sprinkle it into the guitar case and leave it closed for a few days. The guitar can be kept in the case also. With the price of baking soda you can repeat the process a number of times and vacuum up between doses.

Crumbled up newspaper does a pretty good job too!

I had a case that somebody spilled a huge coffee into. I never tried the newspaper, though, because it was all plastic with a styrofoam core and synthetic fur....I just soaked and hosed it out! Worked Great!
Not recommended for wood bodied cases!

Someone posted on the OLF a couple of years ago that they had a guitar in for repair that someone had vomited inside of.......... If I recall correctly it was the chunky variety and a near perfect hit on the sound hole......

I would try to search for the thread but I have to go get some ice cream........ :D

I'm pretty sure hanging a clove of garlic on the inside would help. Not so good for the werewolves though.

Put ur dirty socks and undies in the case for a few days, that oughta do it [:Y:]

If that don't work, I would try the carb soda, it works a trick. Another thing to try is to sprinkle some of that dry carpet cleaning/odour removing powder into the lining, leave it for a while and then vacuum it out again.

Cheers

Kim
