Here's my first foray into a french polished steel string guitar. I've only done it on classical guitars before so this was a nice change. I don't think it's for everyone but this guitar is for a player used to classical guitars.

Here are the specs:
Small jumbo body
Madagascar rosewood back, sides, bridge and headplate
Italian spruce top
Ebony fretboard
Wenge binding
Madagascar rosewood, birch, holly and dyed maple rosette.
25.4 scale
Gotoh 510 mini tuners

Nice guitar, and another one of Ken's Killer Rosettes. Thanks for the tutorial on how to do those rosettes, now I just have to come up with designs.

Beautiful work, Ken! I like seeing the classical aesthetic migrate to steel string guitars. Very nice effect.

Very nice guitar Ken!! Excellent!! Clean and crisp looking. [:Y:] [clap] [:Y:] [clap] [:Y:]

I'm a big fan of your work, but you probably know that already judging by how much I bugged you at the LMI NCAL meeting when you showed us another one of your beautiful creations!

Cheers,
Dave F.

First post here guys.

Hi all,

It's the close up shot of that rosette that has ended my lurking days. It's got a jazz-age/deco kind of rhythm to it that'll do for today's dose of guitar making inspiration.

Cheers, AP

Alexandru, I got the Madagascar from LMI. Unfortunately they aren't carrying it anymore.
