Well boys and girl as I mentioned in a previous thread Ameritage has invited me to the show and asked me to bring some of my work to show off in their custom cases. I have made my flight reservations and am shopping for a room this week. It was too good of a deal to pass by. While it will not be my own booth it is in a since allowing me to share theirs though their cases, of course will be the focus. None the less this is some great (more less) free exposure for me.

I have to tell you guys that you all, or at least those of you that have built SJs off of my plans and have bought AME-32OLFSJ to fit your build have a lot to do with Ameritage offering this to me. It seems the AME-32OLFSJ has been a good seller for 2 years now. I suspect with StewMac now retailing the OLF plans this will be even more the case this coming year. I also have high hopes for the new MJ case and plans as well.

So here is a big thumbs up for all that have made the SJ plans and case successful [:Y:] [:Y:]

Thanks guys and gals. You all are the greatest [clap] [clap]

Oh by the way all of you that are going pleas PM me you boot locations and or lodging locations if you wish. I don't want to miss the opertuinity to meet any of you :D

Michael - Thanks for the offer! Its just a little matter of a job and putting a new HVAC system in a rent house that douses the flame to go! Maybe after I retire in 15 years at age 70............... Gosh, thats not too long to be that age!

I am going to be at the show, and staying close by. I also may stay a week or so longer and try to visit some builders, etc..

PM me for more details.

Michael, I'll be staying along with the rest of the Luthiers Consortium gang at the Islander Inn. It's a good location and value. It's also where we will have our party every night, to which you are invited.

OK, back on topic. WHAT is NAMM please? I'm guessing of course that it's another guitar show like Heldsburg, Miami, Montreal etc... but where is it, who's it put on by. Thanks.

NAMM is the biggest industry instrument show there is I believe. It's for industry only people, and it's all the music. Music publishers, drum companies, guitar companies, strings, horns, keyboards, recording, it's all there. It's major HUGE. If you are a commercial name in the industry at all, you are there, or maybe should be.
Guitars are only one part of the show, but a large component.
After four days of being on three full floors of the Anaheim convention center I still didn't see all of it. That's why many call it NUMB.
It's an amazing thing to behold.

It's also loud and crazy busy, so it's NOT the place to try out a new instrument. It's funny, because everyone is there showing off the latest stuff.
