Anyone ever seen a Gibson Explorer or a flying V? You know one of those pointy electric guitars. Now the silly idea is what if someone were to make an acoustic version of those guitars? Not sure how it would sound but it would look interesting.

I saw one at Guitar Mart. It sounded like crapola - A little better than a Martin Backpacker.
I'm not saying it couldn't be made to sound good, but it would be difficult.

Yea I didn't think it would sound that good but it would look good on stage or something. Guitars are shaped a certain way for a reason... but then with electrics when sound comes from pickup and amp body shape doesn't matter as much.

Martin my friend perhaps Dean designed this "V" acoustic for the aging rockers. Play it today and next month you can use it for shuffleboard..........

I saw this at the Cheltenham guitar show last year. Played it for a laugh. 'Nuff said.
