Just wanted to let everyone know that we just released the new upgraded Bridge Square attachment. This new attachment now has a brass set screw that allows you to lock the location for future use. It also keeps the bridge square attachment from moving when locating your bridge. Attached is a picture of it on the CL Finder. The one on the left is the original one that comes with the CL Finder. The new one is on the right.

Right now, there is an introductory offer of $18 + 4.80 shipping. In another month, the price will go to $20 + shipping. Look forward to hearing your comments!
It can be purchased here http://www.luthiersuppliers.com/products/p9.html

Thanks Hesh! Glad you like it. But it was not our design. This design was created by Jeff Suits who is a member of this forum. He generously gave me the design, and helped me with the design. Everyone who benefits from this new Bridge Attachment should thank him for coming up with the design and giving me a push to sell them. Thanks Jeff! [clap] [:Y:]

When we originally designed the CL Finder, I wanted to create something just like this, but we were so busy with the marketing and testing side of it, that we just put this on the back burner. But since Jeff came along and made one, and offered it to us, we decided to revisit this jig. Hope you all benefit from it.

Tracy,
Pardon my fencepost like ability to comprehend ... may I ask a few simpleton questions:
1) If we order on your web site (which has different prices it seems), do we just make a note somewhere or ... ?
2) If I'm looking to order the square attachment WITH the center line finder, can you tell me the price (and I'll follow whatever above #1 instruction you give).
Filippo

Filippo,
Sorry about the confusion, my website is kind of limited. But you have 3 options on the Centerline Finder Page:
You can purchase the standard CenterLine Finder that comes with the standard bridge square attachment and scriber and that is $71($64 + 7 shipping)
Or you can purchase the CenterLine Finder with the NEW bridge square attachment and scriber for $91($82 + 9 shipping)
Or you can just purchase the NEW bridge Square attachment $22.80($18 +4.80 shipping)

In your case you want option #2 which is the CL Finder with the new bridge square attachment for $91. When you order on the website, it will popup a paypal cart. In the cart it describes the product. So you don't need to make a note of which one you ordered. I'll know because of the description that is associated in the cart. Let me know if that helps. Thanks!

Lars

Lars,
Sorry about that! But the last time we spoke, I didn't know we were coming out with this jig. It happened really fast. Hope you forgive me! But the one you have will work just fine, it is just if you need to lock it in place where you run into problems.
