Well I had the sincere pleasure of meeting with Bob Connor and Zootman aka Uncle Bob and Zootman's son Bob........ this evening.

Everyone is in town here in Michigan for our regional gathering of Luthiers that will be tomorrow in Ann Arbor. We expect approx. 50 builders, repair people, and some players.

I thought that my OLF friends would enjoy seeing some pictures that I took this evening.

Here is Bob Connor with some piece of crap guitar.....



Here is Uncle Bob trying out the guitar.....



Our first stop was the local Guitar Center where we checked out the Martins, Gibsons, Taylors, and Breedloves in the high-end guitar room with the moldy humidifier.....



And here is a close-up of Uncle Bob pointing at the Guitar Center sign.....



Our next stop was the local Woodcraft store....

Hesh....every single time I see that guitar with the black top...it freaks me out. I want that guitar soooooooo bad.

Ummmmmmm....did you ever share the finishing schedule for the top of that thing?....

Good grief...here we go with the begging for that black guitar again. People, settle down...that guitar was promised to me, by Hesh, back...what was it Hesh...sometime in the mid-1980s when we got thrown in jail late one Tuesday for disorderly conduct in a bar. I remember it clearly, I offered to get my brother to bail us out, but Hesh had no money, so he told me about plans to build this guitar sometime after 2000. And there it is.

Keep your promise Hesh, even though I know how terribly annebriated you were and will probably not remember the conversation.
