Well, I went over to the Luthiers Auction site and noticed that there are no items listed over there, which leads me to belive that it has very little to no traffic on it.... So..... I'm posting this here. I need some $$ to fund a new drillpress (which I already purchased).

Some time ago I made a bunch of radius sanding blocks and I have 2 left. Both are 16" radius. Here's the link to the original post

A picture of the two I have left

And some detail:
The blocks are 3" wide x 1-3/8" thick x 16" long. The are made from 3 pieces of 1" eastern hard maple, laminated together with opposing grain direction to help counter warping. These blocks are dead level (in my 45%RH shop) and could easily have sandpaper on the flat side to make a nice flat sanding block as well or on one of the edges. The blocks have two coats of zinsser's seal coat shellac on them.

Price is $40 plus shipping. First two pm's or posts in this thread take them.

Thanks

Great looking blocks Rod my friend.

I think that they would also make great cauls for gluing on a fret board - a 16" radius fret board of course.

Hey good to see you posting Charlie. Sorry I couldn't make it over to the island for the guitars by hand show, just no time this summer.

I was starting to wonder if you had gotten the package. Glad you like it.

How's your shop coming along dude? post some pics of that and the new place when you get some time.
