Ijust finished this drilling fixture. I redesigned it from the wood one I had. I still need a few drilling bushings as When I redesigned it I fell shy some bushings but it will work like this. I need three longer bushings. The lower bushing in the left piece is removable and allows me to drill the tennon out to 5/8" to capture the bolt head in the heel and I also allows me to put a 5/8" dowel plug into the fixture and then mate the other half of the fixture and drill a 5/16" center hole into the plug center for the bolt . It's a bit hard to explain but it will be a great help with mounting that bolt into the heel.
