Was curious if anyone has a source for mother of pearl blanks that are approximately 80-85mm long, 12mm wide, and 1.5mm thick.

LMI used to sell exactly these, I bought a few before they shut off the lights but in hindsight I didn't buy nearly enough. I don't see any MOP blanks of these dimensions that aren't laminated from other suppliers but if LMI had been selling these someone else surely must also supply them, right?

Would the large blanks from Duke of Pearl work? They are 1.5mm thick but not sure about 80mm long.

DePaule has them, if 1.3mm thickness is enough. https://luthiersupply.com/Tie-Blocks-For-Classic-Guitar-Bridge.html

I'll reach out but most of the inlay blanks I've come across have fallen short unfortunately

Thanks Josh those look great! I'll put a bulk order in soon but looking for something that doesn't need to be imported and can be delivered fairly promptly (my lack of planning strikes again)

Are you back in the States right now? I'm happy to send you a couple, if you can wait until Friday or Saturday (putting them there sometime next week).
