Yeah I understood that Jeff but what I do now is pickup up my mechanical pencil and engineer's scale and draw my line(s) based on math done in my head and off to the belt sander. If I had to use that thing I would have to find it first and that would take 30 minutes around here...:)

And you guys accuse me of being a shill for Stew-Mac....;)

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.

Exactly! :) A couple of dozen of you guys have been to our shop and know that we have 25,000 square feet of stuff in 1,000 square feet.... The last time I couldn't find something it was in my hand.... :? :D

Believe me if we thought this would make us more efficient or raise the quality of the value that we deliver we would be all over it. Sadly it seems to be a solution looking for a problem.
